Spike and Cubby’s Ice Cream Island Adventure is a collaboration with the wonderful Amy Young. As is so often the case, our dogs seem to mirror our personalities. This is the story of a tidy, organized corgi with writer’s block. His best friend is a visual artist, and also a fun-loving, spontaneous risk taker. Mayhem ensues, of course, when they collaborate to solve a problem. It’s a stealth story of artistic process, set in our beloved haven, West Michigan. Published by Henry Holt.
