High point of my day is absolutely hanging a door and fixing the doorknob ALL BY MYSELF. Heavily tutored by the patient and instructive (”okay, now you try it”) John at Ace Hardware. But I did it! I did it this amazing thing. The door opens. It closes. And I now know a set screw from a round head, and an eight from a ten. I can make fine disctinctions regarding threading. Best of all, when I got home with my newfound knowledge, I located a screwdriver in my silverware drawer, so lucky! so slender! and then I did this beautiful, glorious thing for my house. HA!
